Cambodian Ambassador to Nepal, Ung Sean, presented his letters of credence to President Bidya Devi Bhandari at a special ceremony organized at Shital Niwas on Wednesday. Sean is the non-residential ambassador. Nepal and Cambodia had established diplomatic ties on April 18, 1975.
The ceremony was attended by Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and high level government officials.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is visiting Cambodia from May 13 to 15. It is learnt that there are some 300 Nepalis working in Cambodia being affiliated to various associations and working at hotels.
